Tasted the other night, it is very intense yet still young and needs more time. A very good d’Yquem, not a great d’Yquem by a long stretch of the imagination. It lacked the intensity I expected from a 23-year-old sweet wine. The center of the palate lacked the intensity and concentration, it seemed hollow on the finish and did not linger as expected.
