After a cold but mostly dry winter, spring got off to a slow start. June had fears of another miserable summer along with the risk of mildew. Leroy’s Baudines show no signs of any of the vintage’s flaws, the wine is fresh, youthful, good mineral backbone and fruit carries the wine forward. This is a very good example of her white wines, fresh oak, good long expressive fruit lingers on the palate.
