I have seen many foods, tried and adored many foods and I am not sure if Japanese leave any food-rock unturned. This is bordering insane, fresh wasabi is expensive, this seems to be a promotion by the prefecture – wrong.

This is vendor is selling very creamy milk ice cream with fresh grated wasabi. At first a person waiting in line asked, “what do you think”, and I replied, “I’ll let you know very soon”.

The ice cream wasabi is an interesting combination. I think that it is worth trying, you have the contrast between the two, a “sweet and hot” sensation. The only negative is, in a cone you have a hard time to mix the wasabi into the ice cream – so you get an ultra spicy brain freeze, the feeling that you are stuck in a time warp.
