It isn’t often that you find the level of attention paid to detail that you find at the Mandarin Oriental in Tokyo. The hotel recently opened at new Italian restaurant which features some of the best non wood burning oven Pizza in Tokyo. The Pizzaiolo, a Roman chef named Daniele Cason, is a young-energetic chef, his pizza making skills are just part of his skill set.
Daniele is the Executive Sous Chef at the new restaurant but you’ll find him behind the counter spinning dough, creating combinations guests dream of. The pizza I ordered is a marinara, crafted with fresh oregano, garlic, the crust bubbles are just right, the thickness perfect and the taste, it is exactly what you expect and more!
