This video is not for everyone and somehow sends the wrong message. I decided to post it because people need to eat and the food chain in Southern Asia is often a reality we are not used to.

Hard to believe or not that people fish with ducklings but they do. At the rice fields I took a double when I passed this guy in my tuk-tuk. I saw a local taking a duckling from a basket and tying it to a line. My guide explains that he uses the duckling to attract fish. There is a large hook under the duckling and as he bobs the duck up and down attempting to catching dinner. His hope is a 1kg+ fish and we hope the duckling doesn’t suffer too much.
