We were invited to a lunch, a house on the river, we travelled one hour by a long boat to reach a house perched on the river’s bank. Climbing up, we took refuge under a wooden roof where luxury meets the haze cast over the river. The locals are burning the jungle in Loas, a simple way to rejuvenate the soil. The result is a smokey haze, it lingers on and hangs in the air. Today we are outside Luang Probang and lunch is served in a magical setting.
