I decided to treat a friend visiting from abroad to a bottle of Échezeaux 2010. The wine has the signature smoky oak of DRC and a rich intense fruit, fresh berries with a warmth and concentration the vintage perfumes. I think it is still a baby and seemed a little restrained but still excellent.
