The 2009 is a good bottle of wine.The weather was warm and largely free from rain, it is clear that 2009 was very good vintage indeed. The wine is a modern styled wine, yet Marc Colin Sr. always respected his local tradition. I first visited his cellars 25 years ago and I recall the cave being very primitive, dark and made of stone. The fruit is open, a brilliant look and a clean butternut taste that lingers.
