The famous Jamón Ibérico, it is obviously Spanish and known for its nutty taste, black pigs feed on nuts under the oak trees. At least that is the original story but these days who knows.
The pigs fattened with corn and barley and later they roam in pastures under oak groves to feed naturally on grass, herbs, and acorns. The most famous quality Jamón Ibérico is “de bellota” and once you eat it, you are addicted.
