Saba Bien

In Japan there are few fish that can match Saba, domestic caught mackerel, and this is called shime saba or cured mackerel. Mackerel is always prepared this way but each chef has his own variation.

Mackerel can only be eaten raw right after it is caught; a delicacy enjoyed mostly by fishermen. However there are a local fisherman in Japan that catch them for clients.

This fish is rich in oil and is very high in omega-3 oils and Vitamin E, and is considered one of the healthiest fish. If you look carefully the quality is incredible and the preparation without any flaws.
