I always think of this vintage as a keeper, at least when it was released. The Parker hype surrounding it made many collectors and beginners buy it up. The idea that its 14 years old adds another dimension. The wine is soothingly smooth, shows normal signs of aging, and has good fruit coupled with a silkiness that we enjoyed. This was a 3L bottle so it had to be good.
