Fonduta Tartufo – video

I am not a fan of fonduta and after twenty-five years of traveling to Piedmont, I had never tried it until yesterday. Fonduta is from northern Italy, especially the Piedmont and Val d’Aosta regions where people adore it in the cold winter months, a typical fondue that fills you up very quickly, a rich melt of cheese. Made with butter, milk and parmigiano regianna cheese, its creamy and heavy though the truffles manage to soften the blow.
