I enjoy meeting and tasting new producers each time we visit Piemonte. We had a achance to taste Giovanni Rosso’s Ceretta, a wine made from one of the best parcels facing south-east. He says, ‘this part of the vineyard provides a particularly good micro-climate for Nebbiolo since it is protected from stronger winds by the copse at the bottom of the slope’.

The wine had good aromas, medium fruit and is a wine we enjoyed and added to our list.
