Take a bite, take a ride and let the baby octopus on a stick get you excited, or not. I am not anxious to taste these commercial looking sea food non-delights; and by the way if you try them, watch out for the quail egg stuffed inside it.
Typically the red coloring is added with Tsu (vinegar) to help disperse the food coloring. In this case I guess they used a red dye and glazed the octopus with a sugar reduction and shoyu.
