“Haruka” |Ehime|

There are so many important citrus fruits grown around the globe, and many are site specific to their own region. This citrus is named Haruka, an accidental result of mutation of a citrus named “Hyuhganatsu” found in Ehime prefecture.

Ehime prefecture is located in “Shikoku” located in the southwest of Japan. In its North is Seto inland Sea and in the south Uwa sea and mount Ishizuchi (1.980m) one of the highest mountains in Western Japan. Seto Inland Sea has about 200 islands both small and big and Ehime is blessed with beautiful nature and plenty of citrus.

Haruka is citrus yellow like a lemon, but when you taste it, you will be surprised. It is not sour, but sweet and without any tangy after taste.
