Arancia Di Lago |Sicily|

Driving towards “the orange lake”, once known as an area for growing oranges, is a small water area known as the Arancia Di Lago and is a reservoir, and hardly a lake.

But what is interesting there is the landscape and more importantly the winery of Diego Planeta. Passing the area over the hills and nearby sambuca di Sicilia, we traveled carefully in order to reach there without any collisions.

The amazing part was when I stopped the car and foraged quickly, I discovered some wild asparagus and small wild fennel. Sicily has so much to offer although much of nature is not preserved in a way to protect it from the destruction of corruption.
