Eight kilometers from the Paros center is the charm of Naoussa’s port. Parking is a challenge but once you cross over the congestion, it is all good. Walking past local fishing vessels you’ll find plenty of choices to sit and enjoy a coffee or a meal. Friends recommended Barbarossa, a trendy taverna. While we tried it, we felt that the menu fell short of our expectations and dishes such as honey and octopus were weird. Unfortunately most tavernas have lost their grass-roots focus and are distracted by the idea of offering trendy foods.
