It just so happens that after three days of solid forest jungle driving we decided to move onto Jaipur, a three-hour drive (by car) to the city. Now we won’t bother to describe the trip but you can imagine the road hysteria – it involves lots of animals crossing and that’s not the real issue.
In India and from our experience the road rules are very different and certainly not we are used to. The drivers are borderline reckless by taking chances passing trucks on blind curves. I had to put a stop to that or else it would have been a splatter on the road.
Now try traveling at night under the pollution and tiring traffic jams and horns blaring constantly. You can never know what to expect on the roads in India.
