There is only one Ivo and the owner Giovanni is one of those characters you need to know if you visit Venice. He is a great host, a fun-loving friend and we adore him.

The food is establishment and you can enjoy all their dishes; fish, carciofi crudo, a filet, fried seafood, or whatever your heart desires. We often enjoy the Venetian lagoon’s Moeca, a marvellous soft shell crab. This night the paccheri pasta was superb, a large macaroni pasta with small calamaretti – awesome!!!

There is no real secret as to why so many important clients, and movie stars make their way to the Da Ivo except for the L’ami Louis atmosphere, service attitude, and general excellent quality.
