I enjoy Chasselas wines and find them amongst the best to accompany foods in Switzerland. This wine is fresh yet has the weight I like. This grape comes from the picturesque vineyard terraces between Sitten and Uvrier in the heart of Sitten appellation, on the slopes of the Rhône’s right bank in Central Valais, where it grows in clay soil that contains lime and slate.
