It is rare to find Saint Pierre’s in Mykonos given the waters are mostly devastated by over fishing in the Aegean.
The dark spot on its body is used to ward off predators when danger approaches. Its large eyes at the front of the head provide it with binocular vision for hunting foods. You can see the large fish in the sack that was swallowed whole by the St. Pierre who uses his double jointed mouth to gobble predators.
