What I found fascinating was the density of the flora, the diversity as I laid down to see it up close. The flora was (in areas) more than 40cm high, and when I walked through it, I felt as if was walking on springy sponge clouds.

The words flora and fauna are mostly used together to describe the plant and animal life. The scientific definition is the plants and animals that live in a particular area. Flora are plants of a given environment, and Fauna includes all animal life in a place or region.
