Many Greeks boil or stew bamiya and I realize why. For one they are hard to imagine that you would eat them raw. The cooking of bamiya makes good sense but not if you are Japanese. In Japan they are diced and sliced or chopped and added to foods, giving them an excellent value. Think twice about the next time you cook bamiya.
