The idea of pork belly is not for everyone and if you are afraid of calories it is jam packed. Over the years I realized pork belly varies by variations and preparation. In Taiwan I found the same thing happening even though I only tried pork belly a few times in three days. This belly was served at a classic Shanghai restaurant in Taipei.
