A trip to Amsterdam will never let you down as the city is one of those European wonders. The small low buildings in the city center, and canals with whiffs of cannabis up your nose. It’s just part of the landscape there, but our trip there had more to do with the museum Micropia, a small two level exhibition space just aside the Amsterdam zoo.
The visit gives you a very good idea how humans co-exist with so many microbes, and we hardly even consider their impact and existence with share. Or how important food fermentation is, and what happens when foods grow their own microbes, can we eat them or simply throw them away? A definite trip to Micropia is something to do when next in Amsterdam.
