This wine showed at the beginning of being opened a little closed. Then after a while, I could detect stems, not bitterness but a roughness on my palate. Then cola and I was starting to think “what the hell” but I gave it more time. No doubt it needed decanting and I failed to request a decanter thinking it was ready to go. I took it home and sipped it beside my bed in the hotel, it was wonderful.
