Venice is miniscule measuring at 400 square kilometres and unlike most cities it’s buildings are mostly propped up on wooden piles driven deep into the sand bottom of the lagoon. True the city is going through changes with Covid and you barely find any tourists on the streets these days. The city of Venice, is still floating and remains one of the most extraordinary cities in the world.
I still consider Venice as one of the most incredible and magical cities on our planet, and during the 18th century, Venice became perhaps the most elegant and refined cities in Europe. It was a city which influenced art, architecture, and literature.
