1941 is probably best remembered for the destruction of Pearl Harbor and, unsurprisingly, little information exists on the vintage, as the world was more concerned with the war.
When I first tasted this wine I thought yuck, then I realised that I was being too judgemental. The fact is you need to give it some patience which I did.
And finally discovered it had an incredible nose and a very distinctive finish and of course it showed its but was delightful.
