Former real estate agent Marlene Soria stumbled across this beautiful property back in the late 1980s when she was showing it to a client – rather than sell it to them, she bought it herself. This reminds me of Jean Philips the former owner of Screaming Eagle, a good friend and a great genius.

Marlene vilified her first vintage in 1991 vintage and produces two spectacular Syrah based wines – Clos des Cistes with 15% Grenache and Clos Leone with 15% Mourverdre.
