COVID-19 test is no longer required upon entering but you must still fulfil one of the two following requirements:

1. Obtain a certificate confirming you have received at least three shots of a vaccine, and a document must be issued by an official body, such as a government agency, and should have a Japanese or English translation.
2. Obtain a certificate confirming the negative Covid test taken within 72 hours prior to departure for Japan from your country of origin if you are not vaccinated three times.
