No doubt his wines are not only mythical but mythically expensive and rightly so with a limited production of 0.14 of a hectare.
Winding the clock back 25 years this wine was always top level, rare with limited production. If you were lucky to find his Corton you had to reach deep into your pocket. Wind the clock forward drinking Coche Corton is still one of those unique experiences for any wine connoisseur.

The 2014 was somewhat sterile, closed fruit and it didn’t open up leaving us feeling some disappointment.
I wouldn’t recommend the 2014 vintage, it isn’t a favourite, but perhaps it needs more time.
