Alba white is in-style and today’s truffle was much better than I expected! I found it in the market at very high prices but less than I expected after seeing the prices in Europe. The prices here are from Euro 4,500-7,000 per kilo. It doesn’t make sense to eat small truffles this season so special attention must be paid to selecting the finest in the group. Tomorrow I expect to be out and early to sniff out some the truffles.
