Can you believe it! (borderline creepy)
I entered the premises today just before 12h00 to acquire a bottle of Romano Levi’s Grappa (an old friend) that was displayed for sale for €186.00 above the bar at Stella D’oro. I had eaten there the prior night and I saw them for sale. They are dusty bottles wrapped in cellophane waiting.
Today, I asked the bar tender to see a bottle and he showed me, but all of a sudden out of the background came the chef who proclaimed the real price! He said to his staff in Italian, they are not €186 but €300.
What people will do to destroy their reputation and this is a sadly a one star Michelin restaurant.
I cannot say anything except a very shady way to conduct business.
