There are French croissants and then you have these, baked in the hills of Piemonte with the local butter and soft flour milled in Italy. I have never tasted something so incredible, they are bronzed on the outside and soft inside, and filled with marmalade. The bakery isn’t special per se yet the traditional wood-burning oven makes the difference on the bronze-colored glaze atop the croissant: Borgo Manera, 4, 12050 Manera CN, Italy
