The hottest peppers in Bhutan are named Cherry Pepper Dalle, and I finally tried them. Yes they are hot and the bite is intense, they almost sting, especially at breakfast when the staff produced them.
It is believed, Bhutan is a very cold place and when people eat hot food, it gives them body heat. Bhutanese cuisine is all about chillies, and almost every curry or dish has a dose of the spice including baby foods.
