The wine was powerful, youthful, intense and long on the palate, an excellent chardonnay. While I find some Chardonnay in the USA decent, it is so very different in style and hard to get used to.
Where else can you drink a Grand Cru Batard and enjoy a “sandwich mixte” which is basically Jambom (Ham) Beurre (Butter) and cantal (cheese).
