Please ask yourself how is China re-starting, the epicenter of the virus?

A friend and I discuss coronavirus and he cringes when he tells me the Wuhanians are selling laboratory animals, those used for testing corona.

It is either, Asians recover rapidly, the spread was contained early on, or they have a drug, or China is lying and just dealing with it? I would say they are just lying, and we can expect a little more news.

Wuhan is an important high-speed passenger train network linking to China’s important cities. The city has one of China’s top economies and is a gateway to nine provinces. The disease should have spread rapidly during the traditional mass migration of people over the Lunar New Year holidays.

Millions wre moving in January before the lockdown so how is it the virus didn’t spread throughout all of China!

The Chinese have their first case in December and in January it was already spreading throughout Asia. So why is China recovering so quickly?

On January 15, a Washington State man who traveled back from Wuhan area is tested positive with coronavirus. He is the first confirmed case in the United States. I am not sure Trump considered corona a priority, he is short-sighted, a pistol tongue swinging political gangster, he sees only what he can, in his own mirror.

The first news flash catching worldwide attention was in January in Japan’s port of Yokohama. The Princess cruise under Japanese law try to manage the crisis and the growing number of infections, yet fail in the eyes of most. A so-called passenger gets on and off contaminated the ship with one single dose of corona and 712 are infected.

A month later no real action was being taken in the United States, and on February 28, 2020, President Donald Trump linked the criticism of his administration’s response to the new coronavirus outbreak to the Democratic efforts to impeach him, saying “this is their new hoax.” During the same speech, he downplays the severity of the outbreak, comparing it to the common flu.

March 17th China took a dramatic step towards ordering American journalists for the New York Times, the Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal to leave the country, in the biggest expulsion of Western correspondents from China since the Communist takeover in 1949. 

Europe and especially Latin countries are seriously devastated and it is probably more about the behavior of Latins ignoring the importance of isolating the spread and congregating in coffee bars.

The “coffee culture” and the hand rinsing of coffee cups in sinks, baristas are too quick to serve coffee. It is a weak theory given most baristas use dishwashers and so it is more likely the germ spread by hand contamination.

I am laughing, China is sinking the ship and throwing passengers a life preserver. Teaching the world how to fight pandemics some argue that China’s global Covid-19 assistance is being done to try to defuse criticism that it allowed the disease to spread early on. I am not sure it really matters right now and the focus is on “cure”. But I am doubtful the cure can be distributed just yet.

So are the Chinese manufacturing using medicines we don’t know about? Many argue it is impossible, I bet they are one step ahead calling local Chinese companies to slowdown research unless they have merit.

This isn’t going away so quickly as we are isolated in our respective corners, all trying to get back to normal, sorry I mean the new normal. This is a tough predicament and it all boils down to accepting your fate. The virus has taken no prisoners, it targets mostly the elderly and ravages others whenever it can.

And despite the political overtures, I salute Dr. Adhanom Ghebreyesus, a solid message to leaders, find better ways to prove yourself or live with more body bags.
